Dustin Dasal, Founder
Technology & Communications

Dasal’s technical knowledge and quick learning abilities keep him in demand by all business sectors. Regardless, Dasal was called to create 2918 Group to help meet the needs of ministries that lack the business, technology, and creativity that today’s communications require. His goal is to use these gifts to enable ministries across the nation and around the world, to reach their potential through the help of technology. Whether it’s a simple budgeting software for a two person office, or a fully-integrated member management solution for a church of thousands, Dasal enjoys creating solutions that make the ministry more efficient and functional. A father of two, Dasal is eager to help churches in the vulnerable area of child safety and security. With good procedures and technology, churches can easily keep kids safe and give parents peace of mind. Through 2918 Group, Dasal promises to keep costs low while offering others the benefit of his experience.
Career highlights:
Employed with Cisco Systems, Dasal has been exposed to and designed some of the largest network installations in the country, as well as some of the most demanding websites in the world. Working with healthcare systems, universities, financial organizations, manufacturing, farming/agriculture, energy and government, his background provides a solid foundation in multiple technologies and general business workflows.
Dasal left Cisco Systems to focus on ministry, working for a mega-church in Ozark, Mo. Since 2007, Dasal has led the Information Technology department at Convoy of Hope — an international faith-based compassion organization.
Dasal has also:
• Designed and implemented infrastructure that can support a multimillion simultaneous user load; a standards based infrastructure which also serves multi-million dollar Fortune 500 companies.
• Assisted in the implementation of a multi-site satellite and terrestrial based network for a Fortune 500 financial firm to ensure that the network is resilient and available at all times.
• Wrote software for online businesses that offer short-term paycheck loans; the application manages transactions, forms, state regulations requirements and financial transactions.
Pickett Dasal
Church & Business Management
Pickett Dasal brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table after more than 40 years of successful business ownership and management. Serving on multiple church boards, as well as the Board of Regents at a higher learning institution, has given him insight into challenges and obstacles often faced in ministry. Dasal ,has a unique ability to see through obstacles and push a project to a successful completion.
Born and raised a preacher’s kid, he has been a part of several church plants, has steered building campaigns, and encouraged sound fiscal practices. Dasal particulary enjoys helping an organization with its business management and operations. Dasal currently oversees several multi-million dollar long-term care facilities that stretch throughout the Midwest.
Kristin Kubitschek
Communications, Public Relations & Copywriting
Kristin Kubitschek brings more than 15 years of communications, public relations and writing experience to the group. Kubitschek has worked on several successful election initiatives, countless special events, and serves as talent for television productions and print publications. She enjoys creating comprehensive campaigns to help inform or appeal to audiences in a call to action.
Kubitschek has worked with government organizations, civic groups and ministries and is proficient in media relations, receiving several recognitions for her work. Kubitschek was chosen as one of Southwest Missouri’s Most Influential Women in 2008. Kubitschek has a Masters in Organizational Leadership
Chad Marsh
Systems & Data Engineering
Chad Marsh is one of the lead Systems Administrator for 2918 Group. Marsh has helped manage the data center of a multi-million dollar software-as–a-service (SAS) organization.He currently manages the network operation center of a Tier IV underground data facility that serves clients nationwide.
Marsh is trained and experienced in Microsoft SQL and Windows Server Solutions. He is experienced in Active Directory, Group Policy Management, and Backup Solutions for large data sets. Formally. Marsh has a degree in divinity, Marsh and a heart for ministry, that accompany his talent in business management and technical services. Marsh brings a tremendous amount of valuable systems experience and knowledge to our clients.
Scott Kirby
Graphic Arts
Scott Kirby brings a variety of advertising, marketing, and graphic design experience to 2918 Group. With a broad business background, Kirby has helped develop several corporate and nonprofit organizations.
Kirby enjoys helping ministries and other organizations best appeal to their audiences through marketing, corporate branding, logo creation, sign design, and promotional advertising.
He holds a B.S. in Psychology and is active in his local Chamber of Commerce and a Human Resource Association
Misty White
Graphic Arts
Misty White is talented with a fresh perspective on design, layout, and marketing. She has helped several ministries and organizations create a relevant image through a modern look and feel popular in today’s culture.
White has designed and developed countless collateral materials (packets, fliers, brochures, mailers, booklets, cards, video graphics, shirts, and more) for ministries across the country. Her work has captivated the attention of thousands of people worldwide.
